Dover has ongoing interest in hiring the following positions:
All Around Machinist (Computer Numeric Control Machine
Programmer)
Responsible for setup and operation
of all machinery including programming and maintenance of computer
numeric controlled production equipment. Capable of designing and
machining any custom fixture, tooling and gauging. Assist in
establishing manufacturing procedures and guidelines. Responsible to
perform 100% in-process inspection. A wide degree of creativity and
latitude is expected. Must be able to perform a variety of tasks
with extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Required a bachelor's degree or certified in area of specialties
with a minimum of 8 years experience. Candidate may be call on to
lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a
supervisor or manager.
Level A Machinist
Responsible for operation of all
machinery (e.i. CNC lathes and CNC machining centers) as volume
dictates and in accordance with established procedures and
guidelines. Capable of interpreting drawings and inspecting product
using a variety of inspection equipment. May be responsible for the
basic upkeep and corrections to programs. Required minimum of 5
years experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with
standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular
field. Must be able to perform a variety of tasks. A certain degree
of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a
supervisor or manager.
